| steviewonder, If you have it installed still, I need you to look in your Public Test Realm folder for Diablo III and see if you can find the file "ijl15.dll". You should also be able to find it in your regular Diablo III game folder. You can copy it over to the PTR folder if you like but I doubt that's the only problem you have. | ||

| steviewonder, Are you getting an error when trying to download the PTR or when trying to run it after downloading it? | ||

| steviewonder, Here's how it works. You download a small installer file (Diablo-III-Public-Test-Setup-enUS.exe) from your Battle.net Account management page. This is a file you have to run to actually install the game which is done via downloading. It's about 61.9 megs in size. When you run that file, it will do the main install which will need to download around 8 gigs or so and it can take a while. When that's done, you'll have a new icon on your desktop for running the PTR client. At which point in this process are you seeing the error? | ||

| steviewonder, What exactly are you clicking on that brings up the launcher with the Play button? Does it say Public Test Realm in the window to the left? What operating system are you using? | ||

| steviewonder, What you download from your page is the installer, not the game or launcher. Are you saying it takes 30 minutes for you to get that small file? What operating system are you using? | ||

| steviewonder, There have been quite a few versions of Microsoft Windows released over the years. I need to know which version you're using. Is it Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8? These are the only versions we support for the game. Also, look carefully on your desktop for a shortcut icon that would run the PTR. You should not keep running the installer to launch the game. If there's no shortcut icon, it would indicate the installer never finished properly. | ||

| steviewonder, Use Windows Explorer and navigate to your C:\Program Files (x86) folder. That's the default location for installing the Public Test Realm client when using Windows 7. It will be in a folder called "Diablo III Public Test". Delete that folder to uninstall the game. When it's done, go ahead and use the installer you downloaded earlier and try installing it again. When you run it this time, first right click on the file and select the option to Run as an administrator. | ||
