| I'm running a gigabyte 580gtx card and im only getting 60fps on the patch 1.0.6, but i was getting higher fps before the patch, also in act 3 on The Bridge of Korsikk my fps drops to 10. any tips of how to change n get higher fps with out changing the detail levels. | ||

| MonkeyMan71, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. | ||

| MonkeyMan71, Try disabling the in-game fps limiters you have enabled now. The game seems to be a lot happier when they're not used for the most part. Keep in mind also that if you have vertical sync enabled, you're only ever going to see frame rates as high as your monitor's refresh rate which is typically 60. Disabling will give higher numbers but likely at the expense of video quality. You may see "video tearing" with it disabled. | ||
