| A new patch for Diablo III is available. The game will now close and apply... etc. This shows up when I try to log in into game. I have up to date launcher...nothing is downloading and it stills says that even after several tries. | ||

We don't, we only push to clients from regions that have been or are in the process of being patched. Cause it think that if I reinstall the game it'll pathc up to 1.0.8a again. Only US clients. If you want to prevent this from happening again, just download the EU client from your Battle.net Account Management page. | ||

Why download EU if I have EU version year or so? If your game is trying to patch right now then I'm afraid that you actually don't have the EU client. With the US client installed, you will be able to connect to the Americas server once it comes out of maintenance, but you won't be able to access the EU server until it has been patched up to the same version as your client. The best resolution is to simply download the client that relates to the server you most play on and then future potential 'downtime' will be at a minimum. | ||

| Locking this one now, some of the misinformation and overreaction in this thread is beyond belief. Guys, it's simple; download the client related to the server you most play on and this will not happen again. The end. Done. Finished. If you do have an issue during future patch roll-outs then that will most likely be separate from this one and we would advise you to contact our Technical Support team for further assistance.
