| This is a well-documented problem by this time that has several "fixes" involving deleting folders in various places, logon/proxy mechanics, etc however as of the past couple days it has gotten to the point that it requires 1-2 hours of trial and error google-troubleshooting to even START WoW and D3 I have yet to boot successfully since I last played a few days ago. Trying to start WoW works if I go directly to the program after installing the update and launcher agents manually. If I try to do the WoW launcher I get the same issue as trying to start D3: Updating Blizzard Launcher stops progressing about 2/3 of the way through. I am running Windows 8. I have already done the following processes, in most cases dozens of times with or without various other tweaks. I have yet to find a magic bullet solution for this issue.
Blizzard, this problem is rampant and encountered across multiple operating systems. It's been going on for years, and has intensified recently. What can be done to *fix* or *prevent* this so that myself and so many others aren't chasing our own tails through thread after thread (after thread after thread...) every time we sit down and want to launch your product? This is quickly approaching the point where troubleshooting exasperation outweighs the enjoyment of the gaming experience as a whole, and that is inexcusable. Please advise. Edit: fixed formatting error, added an additional thing I have tried. | ||

| Glad to hear it's working now :) Locking the thread as it's a little old. | ||
