Disconnection issues. Error 3007. PLZ HELP!(1)Category: Technical SupportFebruary-19-2013 3:10 PM PST (10 years ago) Go to Blizzard forum post
I will be playing from anywhere to 15 minutes to 45 minutes and I will get disconnected from the game. Error 3007. My xfire gets disconnected, my Nephalem Valor is gone, I have to restart or resume again, but the disconnection from my internet happens for less than 30 seconds. It shuts the internet off from the router because it effects all of my online programs that are running like xfire.

I got pissed at my ISP so i called them and they said they haven't had any dropped packets and to try and go to a local roadrunner provider and get a new modem. So I did....

So I went ahead and plugged directly into my modem (instead of my router) and I played fine for 2 hours straight. No disconnects. Plugged back into my router and within 30 minutes I got disconnected. The router seemed to be the suspect so I went out and bought a 100 dollar router. STILL GOT DISCONNECTED ONLY WITH DIABLO 3. No other games do I have issues with.

I researched and found this thread and turned off UPNP on my router.

tried some tips and tricks on there... still am getting disconnected. Does anyone know how to solve please? I have been a diablo fan from the day that the first diablo came out! (kind of shows my age....) But this has made this game completely unplayable for me. I started this new thread because the other one kind of ran dry. I'm hoping because there's a fix.

Is anyone else having these issues????? Please help blues, somebody? I've spent money on the game(collectors edition), on a new router, and at first this wasn't happening. I don't know what has changed but I can't play anymore for more than 20 minutes.

This is a cry for help....

Are you connecting wirelessly to the router or are you using the same cable you used for the direct modem connection?

Have you tried updating the router's firmware? Did you install any software on your computer related to the router?

You can also try flushing your DNS to see if it helps:

- Click Start, then Programs, then Accessories and then locate 'Command Prompt'
- Right-click on 'Command Prompt' and left-click on 'Run as Administrator'
- In the Command Console window that has appeared type: ipconfig /flushdns
- After typing the above command, press Enter to execute it and then close the window
