Posted by: Meteorblade For instance, your next-door neighbour could have an electrical appliance on a timer switch which causes a surge of RF interference (important if you're using a wireless router), e.g. maybe they have their washing machine set to come on around 2am every morning to take advantage of Economy 7 cheap electricity, etc For me it used to be a tumble dryer. Every 5 minutes during a drying cycle, BAM...Internet gone. So annoying. As Meteorblade says, this kind of issue can be very difficult to track down Enigmatic. His suggestion of monitoring usage around that time will help to verify certain things but with the disconnection occurring at the same time every day, I guess it's pretty obvious that you're dealing an environmental or possibly provider/router issue and you just have to try to narrow the suspects down. Let us know how you get on or if you require further advice. | ||
