| I want to play Diablo 3 again, but somehow nothing seems to work trying to install it. I run a W7 x64 system. When trying to download the client from blizzard.net, I get this weird little app thingy called continue-to-save. It does NOTHING. When I open it, it takes me to a website about buying software or something. It makes no sense to me. When I download the installer (Diablo-III-Setup-enGB.exe) I have to put it on compatibility mode before it will even run (plus check the administrator box). As soon as it finishes downloading it will go to the install automatically. At first, it only got me to 10% before it gave me an error. I checked and there was still a ".part" to one of the MPQE filenames. Ok, fine, I changed that and tried again. Then it asks me to put in Diablo 3 cd 1. It just halts everything and there is no more progress. I've tried deleting everything and downloading it again but I get the same result. Can anybody tell me how I escape this circle of errors? Is the installer so broken? Why would a digital download install ask for a cd anyway? And first of all, why do I get some weird browser app thing when I click on the link for the official game client download? | ||

| Hmm, this sounds a bit strange and I would have liked to have investigated it further for my own curiosity at least. However, as you have now managed to resolve it I'll leave it as it is but please let us know if this happens to you again Lairnaedon. | ||
