| Salutations, heroes! We are currently investigating a series of disconnects that have been reported to us – which includes all those mentioned here on this forum. Since Diablo III seems to spit out a whole lot of different error codes but we are actually suspecting a single source of the actual problem, we have opted to create this thread from scratch rather than to convert one of the existing reports here into a dedicated info post. Update 2/1 23:30 Thanks to various traceroutes we received from our gamers across several languages and games, we now feel confident that the issue is located between our servers and the clients. For the time being, we ask you to remain patient. [sub-update 3/1 15:30] The above information was based on a miscommunication. The issue was, in fact, with our login servers acting up. Apologies for the confusion! Update 3/1 09:00 The issue preventing login should now be resolved, we continue to monitor the situation in case of further issues, however everything is working normally at this time. | Thanks for the traceroutes, everyone! Much appreciated and very helpful. It seems that, just like with the problem we had on the 29th, is occurring in the network connecting your clients to our servers. As you can see from the posted examples, the signal isn’t getting through. We’ve passed on this information, but for now all we can ask of you is to remain patient. Intermittently, logon seems to be possible. This has nothing to do with restarting your PC or router – for the people who did perform this step and were able to log in after that, it was mere coincidence. I’ve removed this step from the first post to avoid further unnecessary restarts. | ||

| Hello, Late last night we unfortunately again experienced a short period of login issues, this lasted roughly 45 minutes before being resolved, we apologise for any disruption or inconvenience this caused, and we are continually monitoring the situation to ensure this does not re-occur. | ||
