| I've been playing all season with a bug that causes my screen to freeze for about 3 seconds, turning black for 1 sec and then the game resumes. When this happens I get an error message from Win 10 saying that my GPU crashed but recovered successfully. I haven't really pursued a solution until now as I thought perhaps it would get resolved with a game update at some point. As of 3 days ago, I now have a much worse problem that also seems GPU related. I'll link a screenshot of this error as well. Basically my game will freeze, sometimes causing my entire system to lock up, even preventing task manager from opening. Typically though, it's freezing, giving me an error message in the center of my screen stating what it shows in the screenshot. I would really, really appreciate assistance with this as I tried to submit a ticket through battle.net support only to have it not go through after several attempts. I then tried online assistance, and it would time out after about 1 to 2 mins. I also tried the phone callback for support that claimed a 5 minute wait time. This was 2 days ago, I'm still waiting for a call back. http://i.imgur.com/7PKvLNM.jpg I have updated all drivers, shut down non essential programs, changed graphics setting in game to 1080p and lowered almost all settings in an attempt to reduce lag in groups, but I had also hoped it would help with the crashes. My GPU is staying very cool and is not overclocked. I have also done a can and repair through the battle.net client. | ||

| Toetag, I assume you're using Nvidia's DSR feature to get to the desktop resolution you're running? Current Mode: 3840 x 2160 (32 bit) (60Hz) I'd suggest disabling that for now until you've resolved the initial problem to your satisfaction. Your main issue is likely due to a TDR condition being reached in the system. For more information on what a TDR is, please visit this Nvidia forum thread. They give a very good description along with what can cause it and what might be able to fix it. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/389688/geforce-drivers/nvidia-statement-on-tdr-errors-display-driver-nvlddmkm-stopped-/ There isn't a general fix for everyone but what seems to help the most is to slightly under clock the GPU's core clock frequency by 5-15% using a third party utility like EVGA's PrecisionX or MSI's Afterburner programs. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
