| All of a sudden the game will freeze and a window will pop up with an error code which of course Blizzard doesn't post a list of what the codes are telling me. Happens more when I'm just waiting in town and have to start task manager and go to processes and close the diablo.exe to be able to restart. Thought oh no my computer is starting to fail but got out my laptop updated to latest patch and it to will freeze yet other friends of mine are not having any trouble at all, one code I got was: 4572D8F2-6C32-4156-B880-F25F526F04E3, but is always a different code when the game freezes! | ||

| Sfcwill, Every code like that is going to be unique, even though they're for the exact same crash. This is so when they're submitted, they can be collated properly by our QA Department. I'm not seeing the code you just listed but I can see many others submitted from your posting IP address. They're for a crash we're seeing reports of right now that's still being investigated. | Hikaru, Try temporarily disabling or uninstalling your Vipre antivirus app. It looks like it's related to the crashing you're getting. | Hikaru, Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Press Windows Key + R. Type DxDiag and press Enter. In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information. Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. | Hikaru, About all I can suggest really is using a driver cleaner app like DDU to completely remove all driver traces and then reinstall the latest AMD provides (Catalyst 13.9). Your HD4200 is a very, very low-end card and even though it's technically right at the minimum required, its performance is going to be very poor. | Sfcwil, It's crashing every time it gets to where it initializes the graphics which means either a driver issue or a defective graphics device.. "2016.02.24 16:43:36.964048000 Initializing graphics subsystem..." Did you ever try the workaround where you extract a couple of files from an AMD driver release and place them into the game folder? If so, please remove those files. Also, I'd try deleting the D3Prefs.txt file in your My Documents\Diablo III folder.
