| Hey there guys, I've been all over these forums and have taken the necessary steps to try and better my situation and yet I still have freezing problems. It seems that my AMD graphics card can't load certain maps (Desolate Sands and Act V Docks maps) and then freezes on others during game play (Act V swamp map). It's definitely not random seeing as I've had this problem since the start of the season, playing several hours each day. It happens without fail. I've done everything from lowering the graphics to uninstalling all my AMD utilities and reinstalling, upgrading drivers, using particular versions... still my game continues to freeze under certain conditions. What is the answer to this problem? I need to figure this out quick - I'm having fun with my soft core charge-barian but I'd really like to get back to my hard core thorn-sader. ;) Thanks. | ||

| Garsto, Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Press Windows Key + R. Type DxDiag and press Enter. In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information. Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it) Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.
