Something feels "off" with the mouse in Windows 10(1)Category: Technical SupportJanuary-18-2016 1:12 PM PST (7 years ago) Go to Blizzard forum post
Recently updated my OS to Windows 10 (from Windows 7) and, while it's kind of hard to explain, I figured if anyone would know what I'm talking about, it's you guys on here.

So when I loaded up D3 for the first time, and each subsequent time after Windows 10 was installed, the mouse movement seems to feel, for lack of a better word..."floatier." Like it's on roller skates; it's less "snappy" than it felt in Windows 7. However, when using the new OS for web browsing, the mouse feels fine.

Anyone have a workaround for this? Maybe I overlooked something.

ComposMentis,

Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

ComposMentis,

Nothing looks out of place.

Try booting in selective startup once and playing like that for a little while and see if it still happens.
