| Hello, Lately I've been having this issue. After I log into the game and play for few minutes, which is very smooth and having no trouble at all, the game just suddenly crashes without any error dialogue or warning popping up. Then after that my laptop functions are mostly disable and if I try to start up a command like ctrl+alt+del, the screen goes black and freezes, and it's not even a BSOD as nothing else show up at all. Then I would have to hold the power button to shut it down and restart my laptop. I've tried all the advice and possible solutions I've found, but this problem persists. I can't even obtain a screenshot as no other program or function works after it crashes. I have a GeForce GT 630M with a 4Gb RAM, which is enough to play the game, and I turned off all other programs while playing it. At first I thought it's the fan so i cleaned everything, but that's not it. And my drivers are all up to date. I'm not very sure where the problem lies so I no longer have a way to fix it, or even try. My other games don't have this issue either. It would be great if someone can look into this problem for me. Thanks. | ||

| MADrive, After the next time it happens, would you please post the D3debug.txt file in your main Diablo III game folder? ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| MADrive, I'm not seeing anything in there that would indicate a problem with the game. More likely, it's an overheating problem still or a power source issue. To check for overheating, I'd download and run HWMonitor in the background while playing for a while, then exiting out and seeing how hot the CPU and GPU got. Report the temps here. Also, I don't know whose laptop you're using but there are much newer drivers from Nvidia for your video card. You may not be able to sue them if your laptop manufacturer uses proprietary drivers though. Assuming you're using an OS at least as new as Windows 7: http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx D3Debug reports it as Windows XP SP3 but I believe it's likely mis-reporting it. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
