| So I just lost my HC char to a game crash. It only happens every few days or so, but all of a sudden my game will just crash and freeze. When this happens I alt+F4 then force close D3. If I try to re-open it through the desktop launcher, my computer BSOD's. Also, whenever I successfully log out of D3, I hear this weird humming noise coming from my tower. If I go into task manager DiabloIII.exe is still running, once I end process the noise stops. | ||

| Nickerz, I'd suggest doing a Google search or whatever search provider you use for the BSOD code and see what articles come up. A humming noise is usually a fan running faster than normal such as would happen if something were overheating. I'd run a temp monitoring utility and see how hot your graphics card is getting. HWMonitor is one we often recommend. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Nickerz, It's usually listed on the top line on the BSOD page. If your PC is rebooting before you get to see it, you need to change a setting in Windows so it stays displayed. Here are links to a couple of articles on another site that should help. http://www.howtogeek.com/163452/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-blue-screen-of-death/ http://www.howtogeek.com/222730/how-to-find-out-why-your-windows-pc-crashed-or-froze/ ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Nickerz, There's only so much that can actually make a noise in a computer. Fans, a hard drive, hum or sounds from a sound card maybe, and possibly coil whine from a video card or power supply. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
