After a few minutes of gameplay my screen will look something like this -

  • Pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and then switching back to Diablo will provide a temporary fix. The screen will bug out like this again - sometimes after only 15 seconds, sometimes after 15 minutes.

    My Computer
  • OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit SP1
  • CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 955
  • Motherboard - ASUSTeK M5A97
  • Memory - 16 GB DDR
  • GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
  • PSU - Corsair 6X600
  • Disk Drive Where OS and Diablo are Installed - Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250g

  • Steps I have Tried
  • The 'Display Driver has Stopped Working ...' registry edit fix offered by Microsoft (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2665946)
  • Lowing max FPS
  • Enabling and disabling Vsynch.
  • Disabling Trilinear Filtering.
  • Using older display drivers.
  • Running in Windowed Mode or Fullscreen Mode.
  • Running with or without NVIDIA GeForce Experience in the background.
  • Overlocking or Underclocking my GPU by 100-200 mghz either way.
  • Increasing Voltage to my GPU.
  • Overclocking my CPU to 3.9 ghz.
  • Underclocking my CPu to 3.0 ghz.
  • Using the Scan and Repair tool in the battle.net launcher for my Diablo III install.
  • Uninstalling and Reinstalling Diablo III.
  • A fresh OS install.
  • Windows 8.1
  • Closing the battle.net launcher after opening Diablo III.
  • Closing all applications running in the background (Web browser, iTunes, etc).
  • Changing Diablo III's priority to High for CPU Processes.
  • Replacing my Video Card (I was previously using an NVIDIA GeForce 560 GTX)
  • Replacing the DVI cable to my monitor.
  • Using an HDMI cable instead.
  • Yelling at my monitors
  • Crying.
  • Prayer.

  • I'm running out of ideas. Please help.

    Octavian,

Not knowing the order in which you went through all the steps you've tried, I'd suggest running a driver cleaner app like DDU to remove all driver traces and then reinstall release 353.62.

When installing them, use the Custom and Clean Install options. Just install the graphic drivers and none of the optional components. Do not install or use the GeForce Experience at this time.
