| Right before the authenticating/connecting window my computer just restarts with no errors. I tried repairing/reinstalling and even restoring my computer to an earlier time. I am able to play any other Blizzard game with no issue. All drivers are up to date I also tried unchecking automatic restart under startup and recovery. Any help appreciated | ||

| Celsius, Could you please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Celsius, As your GTX 570 is an older card, I'd want to check to make sure it's cooling assembly isn't caked with dust which could let it overheat. Download and run HWMonitor and let it run without starting the game. This will be what we call an idle reading where no other applications are loading the system down. The card should be relatively cool at this time. After five minutes or so, note the highest temperature reached for both the CPU and GPU. You might also want to revert your Nvidia video drivers to an earlier release, 353.62. When installing them, use the Custom and Clean Install options. Just install the graphic drivers and none of the optional components. Do not install or use the GeForce Experience at this time. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
