| I bought the code for Reaper on sale from Amazon last week and applied it to my account successfully. I did not try playing it as I'm currently playing Starcraft 2 and only picked up the code because it happened to be on sale. I assumed after adding the code through the launcher that the launcher would update my Diablo 3 installation to reflect the expansion. Apparently that's not the case. I fired up the game last night and was told I needed the latest patch at which point it kicked me back to the desktop to the launcher which was not patching anything, instead telling me that the game was ready. Hello infinite loop of stupid. How do I get the patch? I've run the launcher and the game as administrator, and gone through the scan and repair option. I'm running Windows 7 64bit with 64bit D3 client. Never had an issue with patches on the game prior to adding Reaper code. I had thought perhaps the launcher wasn't updating because of today's maintenance, but it didn't update last night either when there was no maintenance or any of the times the launcher has been running since I bought the code last Thursday, which has been every single day since. Any help? | ||

| Sunkistboy, We can't do much right now as the game servers are all down for scheduled maintenance. They're due back up by 11 AM, PDT which is in about 4 hours more or less from the time of this post. By the way, nothing would have had to have been updated on your game client. Adding the code to your Battle.net account would have unlocked the additional content you already had present in the client. Once the servers are back up, try connecting and tell me any messages you see again.
