| Recently I've noticed that every time I close a game (WoW / Diablo III), Diablo specifically always starts an update. It "updates" and then immediately says it's playable. It doesn't matter if I play WoW or Diablo but once I close the game this "update" process always happens lately. Any clue as to why? | ||

| Garzhvog, The other user you reference in this thread states he has to wait a couple of minutes for the phantom update while you state it's immediate. That's enough of a difference in the symptom for me not to think it's related or if it is, it can be traced to something on your PCs. All I can do is troubleshoot issues on your PC in this forum. | I've found another thread in a different forum, Battle.net Technical Support, which contains several somewhat related posts on the issue. | I'm told the developers are aware of the issue. They've identified and fixed at least one condition that can cause it and are working on another one still.
