Ok

1. I am getting the above error.
2. I have run the Scan and Repair option
3. the game is not booting at all before the error pops up so no D3Debug.txt
5. I have installed it on more than one hard drive.
4. This problem Started right after your last patch....

advice would be appreciated.

Hello Gith,

Could you please try closing all background applications (even the ones you've always had running) and see if the issue persists?

Hello guys,

Please try the following steps:

  • Close your Battle.net app and make sure there are no Agent processes running in background (you can see it form your Task Manager).
  • Go to %programdata% (press the Windows key + R, type %programdata% in the search field and hit OK) and delete Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders.
  • Make sure your system and all your drivers are up to date.
  • Once again, please make sure all background applications are closed (even the ones that were always there).
  • Restart your Battle.net app and see if the issue persists. If it does, please create a new admin account and try starting the game from there.
