First of all, I am aware of the currently still existing "density lag" in high greater rifts that is experienced by all players in a party equally when pulling too many mobs or elite mobs with certain affixes such as Health Link. What I experience currently every evening during "prime time" where the most users are logged in is isolated to me alone in the group. I get lags with a couple of enemies already, and when a bigger group is pulled, the game is practically standing still. There is no information coming from the servers for a huge amount of time, and then it comes in a couple of short waves as it's trying to catch up with the server until I'm finally dead and the group is already in the next room. During all this I can talk talk with my group in TeamSpeak and surf the internet in my browser without any issues. This goes on for me from around 9pm CET to around 11pm on any day of the week, rendering me completely unable to play greater rifts during that time, which is a third of the playtime I can dedicate towards Diablo at the moment during workdays, and thus incredibly frustrating for me. I have tried the suggested fixes from this site https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/611 but to no avail. Many thanks. - Oblotzky Edit: Correction, even TX rifts show slight amounts of lag/rubberbanding even tho the ping always shows green with 30-40ms, but it's playable for now Edit2: The issue seems to have faded away as of half past midnight, will have to see when it starts again tomorrow |
