it's been happening for a day now. whenever i make a new game or join a new game, the first 3-4 minutes i have a latency of around 400-600 (which obviously makes the game pretty unplayable). however, the interesting part, is it won't just go away by waiting, i have to start playing, and then after a few minutes it goes away. anybody else had this issue? and possibly a solution? i had reset my router so far, updated video driver and still no resolve. it's weird it started all yesterday, no new programs installed and everything else internet based is running ok. |

7. 5-12-102-161.residential.rdsnet.ro 10.0% 10 45.9 155.0 45.1 372.0 137.1 There seems to be packet loss there, but could you please post a traditional traceroute and pathping so we can look into it? Sometimes it has some extra information that helps determine the issue. - Tracer: battle.net/support/article/7648 - Pathping: battle.net/support/article/718 I would also recommend following the steps in this article, including the advanced: battle.net/support/article/611 ______________________________________________________ Got feedback about the support I'm providing? 2 * * * Request timed out. When a hop appears like this in the traceroute, it can mean that it's protected, but there could also be an issue. I would say it's the second in this case, since the pathping doesn't go through that hop and just stops on the previous hop: 1 276ms 0/ 100 = 0% 0/ 100 = 0% 192-168-0-1.rdsnet.ro [192.168.0.1] The latency in this hop is also very high, even though it doesn't appear so in the traceroute. 5 593 ms 2 ms 2 ms br01.bucuresti.rdsnet.ro [213.154.124.94] Here the latency spikes up (and it's very irregular within the different connections on the same hop), and from then on the traceroute is full of high latency. I would definitely recommend contacting your internet provider. Pass the traceroute and pathping on to them, so they can investigate and make sure everything is working properly. ______________________________________________________ Got feedback about the support I'm providing?
