| Hi there, I decided to hit D3 up again after a long time away and now I get an error message with the following. "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0150002)" YES, I have contacted Blizzard and they supplied me with a list of things to do and try and unfortunately all have failed. Google has returned it as a Visual C++ issue, so therefore I uninstalled all of them and reinstalled 1 by 1 to see if any would fix it and unfortunately they did not, now I only have 'Visual C++ 2013 Ver. 12' installed I decided to dive into the event viewer and found the following. "Activation context generation failed for "H:\Games\Diablo III\fmodex.dll". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis." SYSTEM INFO Win 7 x64 Ultimate 16GB RAM i5 3570K GTX 970 I am really stuck for ideas here.. Any help is greatly appreciated. | ||

| Dahovikain, Have you tried running the game's Scan and Repair utility yet? If so and it didn't help, the next step would be to try uninstalling and then reinstalling it. You don't need to have any version of Visual C installed to play our games. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
