| Battlenet unable to locate game after system reinstallation(1) | Category: Technical SupportApril-16-2015 5:48 PM PDT (8 years ago) ![]() | |
| Hi, I've re-installed my system from Win7 32-bit to Win7 64bit, and backed up my Diablo III folder. But when I installed battlenet in my new system but it won't recognize the Diablo III folder that I backed up. Everytime I click on locate game it pops up"This folder doesn't contain the correct version of this game" with the error code BLZBNTAGT00000AF0. "And I've tried what the troubleshooting page suggested: 1. Make sure the selected directory contains the game you're trying to add. 2. The game file might be missed due to a configuration error. Try running the game directly from the install folder to configure Battle.net. 3. If the issue persists, uninstall the client and reinstall using Battle.net. You can also download a new copy of the installer from the Battle.net Game Downloads page." Not sure if there is any discrepancy between the Diablo III client of 32 bit and 64 bit and that the problem could be due to this. Nevertheless, is there anyway that battlenet can recognize my backed up game without needing to redownload it? Thanks! | ||

| ShoRim, To the right of the Install button, you can click on Locate and navigate to the folder containing your Diablo III install. ______________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Pacific Time, Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
