| I use to exclusively play w.d. but grew tired of not find the elusive smk! During season 2 after watching d.h.'s (which was my first character at launch) I changed classes. Just as I got the mauraders set blizzard changed the set bonuses. Although I was bummed I found leveling very easy with this class. Season 3 I wanted to build a monk due to the exploding palm bracers and found the class to be fun with the 2 set bonuses which will now change with season 3. While playing my monk I found my first furnace but it rolled intel. So I created a wizard and started farming with the fire birds build and found it to be fun. I last played the wizard back when you would freeze them and use explosive blast. Now the wizard is completely changing for season 3. With season, 3 except for the transmogs, I don't see to much reason to play this season. It seems the season gear they introduce in previous seasons is obtainable over the next season and not for that season only. This season I will want the new legendary gems to roll over when the season ends and maybe the new w.d. gargantuan ring. It seems the new sets are not just for season 3 bit instead is part of patch 2.2 which should carry over to non season characters. I'm interested in the new ik barb set since I don't have a stand out barb. I'm thinking of playing g my WD for the new set bonuses and hope to find an smk and I'm thinking about trying the new innas set for my monk, and maybe the new Nat's d.h. set (all non season characters of course). Now I'm sure I will get my share of rude comments because some people just can't help themselves, but what are the thoughts in the community? Season non season? Character class and why? Season non season? Character class and why? Patch 2.2 what sounds good and thoughts on the new and updated sets for each class? Gosh, good questions... I'm still deciding which class to roll in Season 3. For S2, I went with Monk since it was one of my less played classes at the time, and for this new Season, I'm picking based on the Set item group in Patch 2.2.0 that I find most interesting gameplay-wise. Right now, it's a toss-up between Crusader (Roland's Legacy), Witch Doctor (Zunimassa's Haunt + Carnevil) and Wizard (Tal Rasha's Elements). While most of my friends are also joining in Season 3, some are planning to hit level 70 with a character for the Season-exclusive transmogrification appearances before switching to their non-Seasonal characters. A few others are going to get ahold of the new Season-exclusive Legendary Gems before S3 ends and the items roll over to the non-Seasonal loot pool. What about everyone else? Will you be rolling a character in Season 3? If so, which class will you pick and why did you choose it? (And if not, why not?) | ||

Thus I won't be playing seasons. Will sadly have to wait for the new content on ns when seasons end. And yes I will play seasonal cause I like the fresh start and the accomplishment of rebuilding from scratch. I think these are some great examples of why you may or may not play Seasons. Not everyone may like chasing after new transmogs, getting a first go at new Legendary items, or competing on Seasonal Leaderboards, and that’s okay. We never want these rewards and activities to be so amazing that you feel you must play Seasons, though; they're meant more to be the icing rather than the cake itself. That said, we certainly value your thoughts on this particular design, and we'll continue passing on your feedback to our development team. | ||
