Darth: Started out young on that Connect Four, back then it was just the cool thing to do, worked my way on to that harder stuff like NES, soon enough I was a PC gamer.

Darth: I play all of the classes just to get a feel of how they work, but I main monk, I love em, always have, always will.

Darth: Both, Monk is having an exceedingly hard time finding Grift groups at the moment, especially for progression, so a lot of my grouping is just T6.

Darth: Getting taken in trade scam. That or realizing my Rimeheart/Invokers build wasn't going to be viable (because elites don't stay frozen) after hyping it up to one of the better known MVPs to help test it.

Darth: a couple of them but I think getting #1 in doubles in HC 20 seconds before the PTR went down with my homie M51 from EU may take the cake.

Darth: Mike Tyson's Punch Out - classic, Amped Snowboarding, Excite Bike, Super Contra, I dunno too many to name all of them.

Darth: The Monk in Hellfire was just ruthless so I figured I'd give it a try. Perhaps I watched to many JCVD movies as a child.

Darth: The great thing about this monk at least for solo play is there's a few different builds that are 40+ viable. I tend to use TR: Flurry dual weild, with a SK and Utar's for grifts but have been getting tired of getting to RG's with 6-7 minutes left and not finishing in time, so I have been working on my Light WoL again. There's a couple things I like to play around with though, perhaps the most fun is Flying Dragon LTK: VCK and man does it look cool when FD procs.

Darth: Ancient Flying Dragon or Ancient Torch. Flying Dragon is probably BIS for TR if used correctly, Torch is more of a surefire way to ensure I can at least do mid to late 40's plus I've always loved Wave of Light, well at least since 1.0.7. Even moreso (props Fitz) during the glory days of Nirvana.

Darth: The biggest thing I run into now a days is the over dependency on Torchs. It's a great weapon, almost certainly the best for Wave of Light, but there are other builds both 2h and DW that are competitive. Do not disregard the advice of the better known monks or streamers, but don't take it as the end all be all. Meta is only Meta til the next best thing comes around.. Oh and if you want to get better at SC, play HC.

Darth: Single Target damage needs to be a lot higher. I know that this is being attempted by Rainments (at least when it was at 500%) but its still no where near DH, new Barb. The perception that ranged classes should get higher DPS because they take can less damage becomes more false the higher the Grift level. DH's will stay alive longer because evasion becomes the only means to defense the closer you get to everyone getting one shotted. Our toughness isn't weighted high enough to take the damage they are able to deal out so evasion or crowd control become the only means of defense, perhaps its time monks got back crowd control as there wont be Perma Serenity. Shouldn't have to exploit a broken mechanic to have a spot in top greater rifts.

Also, I would like it if holding down the hold ground button prevented Epiphany from teleporting. Oh and Dashing Strike tends to stick on walls.. *sigh.
