| Reinstalled Windows, now can't start the game.(1) | Category: Technical SupportFebruary-5-2015 5:44 AM PST (8 years ago) ![]() | |
| As the title says, I've just recently reinstalled Windows on my computer, and now I'm unable to lauch the game. Everything else works fine, I only experience this problem when it comes to Diablo. When I try to lauch it either directly from the Battle.net launcher or with a shortcut for which I added the -lauch parameter, the screen flashes and the Play button changes back from Playing Now to Play. There is no error message. I tried to modify D3Prefs as well, I tried to run it with VSync enabled, in windowed mode, but none of these helped. I also tried Selective Startup, and deleted the Blizzard Entertainment folder from the ProgramData directory, as it is suggested in one of the official troubleshooting guides. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | ||

| ph0bia, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Thursday 7 am - 4 pm Pacific Time, Friday 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time ,Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
