Grimiku: Tell us a bit about yourself.
REAPER666: My name is Darren, proud father of two wonderful boys. I manage the west coast regions construction activities for a developer here in Southern California.
Grimiku: Got any cool hobbies or talents?
REAPER666: I enjoy no limit Texas Holdem cash games and tournaments.
Grimiku: What’s your history as a gamer outside of Diablo?
REAPER666: Heh, believe or not, I am not much of a gamer. D3 only, did not play WOW, D1, or Starcraft. I am not much of a MMO player.
Grimiku: What are some of your favorite games?
REAPER666: D3 atm :P though looking forward to "Lost Ark"
Grimiku: What’s your past with the Diablo franchise like?
REAPER666: I picked up D2 LOD back in that day and was hooked immediately. My favorite class was the necromancer. I guess the dark summoning elemental side of that class drew me in. D3 was a logical progression to follow. I started as a DH in D3 and absolutely fell in love with the class, and was amongst the top 3 Dps players in the world. I dabbled in other classes like barb and monk, but always went back to my DH. I had always watched the WD class and was appalled by what I saw. This poor class was struggling at every turn. After some time and a few changes I saw on WD class, I decided to level up "OogaBooga" . I absolutely feel in love with this class as it brought back the Necro days of D2 for me.
After sometime I noticed an abundance of issues the WD class had/has, and broken skills that made no sense. I then became VERY passionate to implement changes in the WD class, after realizing how incomplete and neglected this class was. I ran cloud of bats and 0-dog until ROS beta. I was fortunate to be invited to ROS beta and provide many, many, many pages of threads on forums and emails to help change the WD class for the better. I am pleased that our voices have been heard on most issues.
Grimiku: Do you play any other classes?
REAPER666: WD and DH atm. I don't care for Sader or Wiz, Barb is meh as well :P
Grimiku: Are you in a great clan or community? If yes, tell us about them!
REAPER666: Yes, I am in VUDU. We are a WD community clan mostly focusing on this class. For the most part we are active on forums and provide valuable feedback to help understand game mechanics, special shout out to my friend Paulng, for providing all us his passion for testing, why and how things work for this class. We are pushing our membership to progress on leaderboards. So far I am very pleased with the results they are producing. We have some great players in our clan.
Grimiku: What's your most embarrassing moment while playing?
REAPER666: hah!! too many to name :)
Grimiku: Okay, what about your most AWESOME moment while playing?
REAPER666: idk, I just enjoy running the game with buddies, killing bad guys, talking crap you know?

|[MY STRIKE IS TRUE]|
Grimiku: What drew you to the Witch Doctor?
REAPER666: See line 5 :P
Grimiku: What’s the voodoo that you do: do you drain your foes' life force over time, unleash your minions upon them, or call forth a surge of power to crush them?
REAPER666: I am a pet Doc. Having my little buddies help me fight, is just epic. I still want to learn what my little buddies are saying to each other :P
Grimiku: What's your favorite skill (or skill rune), and why?
REAPER666: Hands down.... BBV slam dance! The best skill invented.
Grimiku: What build are you running currently?
REAPER666: MoJ and tiki doc, though I am going to break out my jade soon when gear is more OP.
Grimiku: If there was one thing you could change about the Witch Doctor, what would it be?
REAPER666:I can't stop at one..sorry. First and foremost is our spenders. What spenders you ask?...ALL of them :). This class has been deficient in any viable spender build since Vanilla's COB days. I would like to see a change in bears and have that skill viable. You would have to totally redesign this skill. The animation of bears can be changed to "spirit bears" coming forth out of the ground and seeking the bad guys. I think this animation can be fast and efficient. Current bears are too slow and have an unacceptable range.
I'm sure a set can be used for spenders for WD, balancing damage and mana costs. I hope for better AOE of pets. I would like to see a "Cleave" ability implemented for FA. This ability should help solve the AOE issue. I would like to have FS be able to survive more on high grifts. I guess my hope for pets would be to have them viable/relevant past Grift 50.
Grimiku: Name one piece of advice that you think every Witch Doctor should know.
REAPER666: Read up on this class, learn the mechanics. It will be the most fun class you will play.
Grimiku: What’s the coolest looking Voodoo mask in your opinion?
REAPER666: Visage of Giyua....love the all seeing eye!
Grimiku: Who’s your favorite fictional doctor (from literature, movies, television, video games, etc)?
REAPER666: Dr Quin medicine women :P..idk ;)
Grimiku: Pick a Witch Doctor quote!
REAPER666: "The truth burns you"

Grimiku: Which Witch Doctor should we interview next?
Grimiku: Pick a question to ask in the next interview:
REAPER666: How would you address and fix spenders for WD?.
