| Hi everyone. I'm having a problem with Diablo 3, in that every time I hit the play button on the Battle.Net program, it will go to black like it normally does, but then it goes to the desktop. The icon is at the bottom of the system taskbar, but as soon as I click it it does the same thing. I'm still very new to PC gaming in general, so any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. | ||

| ArmandoMendo, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Unclefresh, DisplayModeWidth "800" DisplayModeHeight "600" DisplayModeRefreshRate "56" With the game closed, try changing these lines to match your desktop and monitor's native settings. Edit them to look like these and then try the game again.
