| Whenever I try to launch Diablo 3, I end up with a black screen, showing only the D3 game cursor. Other than the black screen, the game seems to be functioning properly, as I can hear the sounds that is supposed to be there, and when I manage to click on a button in spite of the black screen, I get the correct sound effect. Oddly enough, when I tried to take a screenshot to illustrate the problem, the resulting image ended up showing the screen as it should appear, not with a black screen. I attempting to play the game on a Windows 7 laptop with no other screens attached, with all drivers being up to date. I am having the same problem when I try to run Team Fortress 2 through Steam, and in the last couple of days, Hearthstone started showing the same problem, in spite of running without problems for the last 8 months since I last reinstalled windows. I originally thought the problem was that the games ran on Intel graphics instead of the dedicated graphics board, however Catalyst Control Center informs me that it isn't the case. If more information is needed, please tell me and I will do my best to provide it. | ||
