Hey. I've been trying to find a fix to my problem but i cannot find any answers.

My problem is when I play d3 the screen would freeze and lock up but the game would still be running. I can hear the effects in the background but I am unable to do anything about it. The only thing I was able to do to try to fix it in time and tp back to town is pressing Ctr+alt+delete. Then I would press cancel and the game might catch up to itself, giving me time to get back to town. If i choose to keep playing, it would lock up again soon after.

As of right now I am completely stumped and I am now thinking of getting a new computer.

My laptop specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz

Memory (RAM) 20.0 GB

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M

Not sure if Hard drive matters or not but I have a 7200rpm 1 tb drive I belive? ANyways my laptop is the Asus G47sx

Do any or all of you happen to have the Nvidia GeForce Experience app running while you play?

Richo,

Could you try uninstalling GeForce Experience and then playing as you do normally and see if it happens again?

We had a user comment that doing this resolved his freezes. We're not able to get this to occur in-house so we're trying to get as much info as possible.

I don't know what's causing it, and I'm not saying it's not an issue with our game, but to be fair, other games in the industry are experiencing the same thing.

Until we can get reliable reproducible steps, our QA dept is limited in what they can do.
