| Yesterday, I installed the game again after having not played it since about a month after RoS came out. The game was working fine back then, but now I'm getting a visual glitch on spell and attack special effects where the visuals are only partially displaying. Examples from a couple of Crusader skills: Slash - Carve: http://i.imgur.com/RfUEk7l.jpg?1?9060 http://i.imgur.com/Zs6qhsP.jpg?1?8610 Sweep attack - Trip Attack: http://i.imgur.com/2ALWd0c.jpg?1?1882 There are brighter glow effects that are supposed to be present on these skills but aren't displaying. Carve just looks like a jagged, white and green mess, and Trip Attack looks much less substantial than it should. Every other skill effect is doing something similar, and while it's not technically game-breaking, it's very distracting and unpleasant to me. I've tried updating my graphics driver, reverting to the driver version I had last time I played, reinstalling the game, and running the Battle.net scan/repair tool. I don't have any other ideas. My video card is a several year old GTX 460, but I haven't had any problems with other games lately (and I play games with better graphics than D3 fine), or D3 in the past. Any suggestions would be appreciated. | ||

| Answerofduty, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | Answerofduty, Nothing looks wrong in your setup. In checking the Bug Report forum, I see people complaining of reduced effects for the Crusader since 2.1. All I can do really is suggest you add your comments to one of those threads.
