| A bit salty right now since lost yet another character in HC seasons but have gotten about 4 crashes since release of patch 2.1.1 Once when trying to upgrade gems, once while fighting a elite on a random grift map, once randomly during bounties and think another time just randomly somewhere idle. I'm not quite sure what's causing it and have had no issues before this most recent patch. What to do? | ||

| MannerCookie, I'll need some indication of what's happening. That's usually a crash message or code that's displayed if the game generated one. If that's not available, I'd need to see your D3Debug.txt file copied right after a crash occurs. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| MannerCookie, the screen locked up entirely but I could still hear the sounds in the game. All right, this isn't technically a crash then as the game was still running. We've received reports about screen freezes like this but still have not been able to reproduce them in-house. Any info you or anyone else can provide that would help to force this to happen would be appreciated. You might want to post your dxdiag in any case so I can take a look for anything seeming out of order. Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Also, the next time it does it and you've recovered, before playing again, could you post your D3Debug.txt file? It's located in your Main Diablo III game folder. It's going to have your BattleTag in it in several places so you may want to edit it out before posting. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos [Post edited one time, last edit by Omrakos at September-25-2014 6:40 PM PDT (8 years ago)] | ||

| Greencup, I've been seeing recent reports about Precision X maybe causing trouble and I see you have it running as well. DBG-MODULE<71610000 00033000 "PrecisionXServerHooks.dll" "PrecisionXServerHooks.pdb" 0 {46d20c30-2fc1-46a8-befaf3e5f40adf08} 1 1411026276> You might try temporarily uninstalling it and seeing if it helps. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
