| ok.. i have no idea why its so hard to find an answer to this. Ive been searching but cant find an answer. According to this video here (and common sense) John Hight. The games Production director clearly states around the 1:00 mark, that you should be able to take characters back and forth between your ps4 and your friends http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/08/15/diablo-iii-on-ps4-sharing-your-adventure/ the exact quote after they were talking about couch co-op "We didn't want any impediments for you to take your character and play with someone else. So its critical that players be able to take their own id, use their own character, level at a friends house, then bring that own character back into their own experience" HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO THIS?!?! I cant find an answer anywhere. This is why a friggin manual would be great. Heres my situation: -Friend buys game, plays wizard to about lvl 66 and wants to play with me. I do not own the game -Friend does not have PS+ so he puts his save on a memory stick and brings it to my house. Loads it on my HDD and we start a new game with him as player 1 and me as player 2 He plays a new Crusader i play a new Demon Hunter -He has all his money it seems and stash -Friend goes home and the crusader is not select able, so he keeps playing his wizard up past 70. Then plays crusader at my house again (as player 1 again) and wizard is still 66 How can he access the crusader at home and at my house? Should I have started as player 1? I dont get how this works at all. There should be an import character option but the only one i see is to bring a character from PS3. Plus that says it wipes your data for some reason. Can someone explain how this works? That video makes it sem it should be easy to play your character with other people, im not seeing that AT ALL. He doesn't want to not be able to use the character after it hits cap *rubs temples* it really shouldn't be this hard to play your character at a friends house. | ||

| Thanks BTMachine! The step that seems to have been missed Zombie is your friend may not be exporting their own save data from your system to the USB after the game session, and then importing that back onto their own system.
