| The answer to this question will probably be a resounding no and place me in the noob category but imma ask anyway. If i have the xbox(360) version of the game with the reaper of souls expasion and an xbox live account, can i play online with my friend who plays the game on his desktop? I figure probably not, but the game said something about a free legendary ring when you link your xbox live account to your battle. net account, so what exactly does that do? | ||

Adding to this, the console account link on PC allows for the exportation of save data from the original Diablo III to UEE, between different console brands (e.g. PlayStation > Xbox, & vice versa). For doing that, the associated console account is awarded the Signet Ring of the Blizzard in the Ultimate Evil Edition. As the others have stated, the PC and console versions are separate and incompatible. Players who wish to check the PC version out, can begin a Starter Edition for free. Hope this helps! Edit: just saw your recent post - yes, you can upgrade the Starter Edition to a Standard Edition as you'd like. | ||

| They are separate purchases, and you can find them both here. Reaper of Souls is available in a Standard and a Digital Deluxe Edition. | ||
