| I just purchased reaper of souls, when i load up the game i get to my character selection page and it just shuts my monitors off and says "power save mode". It never did this before i got reaper. I tried giving my card a break thinking it was overheating but it still does it instantly. Every other game ive tried runs fine. Any suggestions? | ||

| Subohms, Try editing your D3Prefs.txt file located in My Documents\Diablo III. Using a text editor like Notepad, change either or both of these lines if they exist. | Airduct, When you get a chance, can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | Subohms, I'd like to see the temperature that the gpu is reaching when this happens. As you have two monitors, you can start a temp monitoring app on one while starting the gamer on the other. Hopefully, you'll be able to see if there's a sharp rise occurring and possibly how high it gets.
