| Hey guys! im not sure i get this whole upgrading the gems % chances.. so i thought i would ask.. ok.. so..the thing is, if you perform good compared to the lvl of your greater rift, the chance is higher right? i saw this table.. 100% 90% 80% 70% 60% 60% 60% 60% 60% 60% 60% 30% 15% 8% 4% 2% 1% +10 +9 +8 +7 +6 +5 +4 +3 +2 +1 0 -1 -2 -3 -4 -5 -6 -7 but how does the diffrent Torment levels play into the chances? i mean..otherwise you should always get keys and then go T1 to go above the gem lvl, and upgrade there right? | ||

The short answer is that the games difficulty setting doesn't have any influence on how difficult a Greater Rift is, or the chances of upgrading a Legendary Gem. The chance to upgrade a gem is based on that gems current rank, and the rank of the Greater Rift your currently in when you speak with Urshi about it. So, don't worry too much about what difficulty setting your on as far as leveling up those gems are concerned, but get as far as you can in Greater Rifts for the best chances to upgrade them. | ||
