| Used to run fine 70 80 + fps. After a few minutes in the game drops to constant 20 fps for no apparent reason. I checked the debug txt and it's using my nvidia gtx570. So why is it running only at 20 fps after a couple minutes after I open the game. Rebooting fix the issue but only for a couple minutes but then the 20 fps comes back. Anyone can help? | ||

| Moshpit, That's often a symptom you see if the video card or processor is overheating. Download and run HWMonitor from: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.24-setup.exe Now start the game and let it run several minutes but not quite long enough to see the frame rate drop if possible. Then exit or alt-tab out and see what the highest temperature is that was reached for both the cpu and gpu. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Moshpit, It should be getting hotter than 42C when under any sort of load. Are you sure you're looking at the right column for the gpu temp? As an example, my GTX 580 here at work is sitting at 57C while just running several browser windows. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Moshpit , If you have vsync enabled, it won't go above 60 fps for a 60 Hz refresh rate. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Moshpit, With overheating, what you'll see is a frame rate drop that lasts a while, not long, until the gpu has cooled enough for it to speed back up, and then drop again when it reaches the overheating threshold again. It doesn't require a reboot to restore the fps. it just keeps cycling up and down periodically. Many things can cause what you're seeing though. It needs to be failing again in order to know if any changes you make while troubleshooting help. Try booting in selective startup once and playing like that for a little while and see if it happens again. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
