| Hey guys, just finished patching up to 2.1 and after trying to join a game dozens of times and constantly getting timed out I've decided to post on here to see if anyone can help Receiving error 3006 after trying to join game, create game, create character, or switch character. None of my chat messages are going through, or at least not appearing in my chat. I have repaired my client and deleted my cache folders to no avail... Here is a copy of my trace route which I have never had to do before this: 1 6ms 3ms 6ms homeportal [xxx.xxx.x.xxx] 2 * * * Request timed out. 3 36ms 103ms 28ms 70.143.193.38 4 38ms 38ms 28ms 12.83.34.1 5 70ms 79ms 139ms 12.123.132.209 6 67ms 69ms 78ms 12-122-254-226.attens.net [12.122.254.226] 7 58ms 59ms 59ms 206.16.68.50 8 97ms 61ms 58ms 12.129.209.68 I didn't run a pingpath but I can do that if it will help...Im sure the second hop seems to be the issue, although I dont know what the next step in the diagnostics would be and search/support section hasn't really been much of a help. Thanks in advance for your advice! | ||

| DieselNuGz, As your title indicates, the 3006 error is typically seen when we have servers down for maintenance, but right now, that's not the case. Your second hop shouldn't concern you. Your packets aren't being blocked there so it's most likely due to the router at that location being configured to ignore the type of packets used in a trace route, a common practice. The times on your first hop suggests you're using a wireless connection. If that's not so, let me know, otherwise, it looks normal. I'd suggest you do a simple reset of the modem and router if applicable first to see if it helps. To do that, you need to unplug the power going to the devices and then plug them back a few minutes later and let them reinitialize again before using them. This all just takes a few minutes. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| DieselNuGz, Before doing that, try connecting to the EU region and see if it gives you the same problems. Select that region just above the blue Play button in the Desktop App, then hit Play. You'll need to create a character to test with after connecting for the first time. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| DieselNuGz, Are you using any type of internet security software like an antivirus suite or anything with a firewall? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| DieselNuGz, Would you be able to uninstall BitDefender? Don't unless you know for certain you can reinstall it again later if you decide to. It looks like they offer their own uninstaller tool as do other AV product manufacturers. http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall/ With it uninstalled, reboot the PC and then see if the issue is still present. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
