| I've been having problems with the game crashing on me and I read several posts with similar issues and tried lower the sound setting and reinstalling the game twice. Nothing seems to work and my problems seem to be getting worse. When my problems started I had anywhere from 5-30 minutes I could play or try to experiment with different setting to try to fix the problem. I am stuck with default setting and the game freezes before I can go into the game to adjust setting. I did notice my computer is quitter than usual when I run the game which means my graphics card may not be working with the game anymore. I use a nvida 675M but I had problems with the game before I noticed the graphics card not working with it I can't access the task manager when the game freezes and I have to shut the power down to get it to restart so I don't get any error codes. I am not very knowledgeable with computers and d3 is the only program I'm having problems so I'm not sure were to even start fixing the problem at this point | ||

| Will, There's not too much I can suggest if there isn't any actual indication of what's causing the problem. I'd suspect possible overheating though from your description. Download and run HWMonitor from: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.24-setup.exe Now start the game and let it run several minutes. Then exit or alt-tab out and see what the highest temperature is that was reached for both the cpu and gpu. I'd also like to see your dxdiag info. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Will , I'm afraid you cut the report off too soon and didn't mention the temps you saw when running the HWMonitor utility? What you listed does show me you most likely have an Optimus-equipped (Nvidia and Intel video) laptop. I'd also like to see your D3Debug.txt file now. It's located in the main Diablo III game folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
