| So i decided since there are common times when i hit high density on my D3 that i wanted to just turn all my graphics down because i'd rather have a smooth game than a laggy one, but my system is not a slow one really...but thats besides the point. When i try putting the Texture Quality on Low and hit Accept, it gives me a black screen and i cant see anything but my mouse, so please help! Specs: OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 7 64 bit CPU TYPE: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz CPU SPEED: 2.85 GHz SYSTEM MEMORY: 8.58 GB VIDEO CARD MODEL: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series VIDEO CARD MEMORY: 789.58 MB VIDEO CARD DRIVER: aticfx32.dll DESKTOP RESOLUTION: 1600x900 HARD DISK SIZE: 232 GB SSD 596 GB HDD | ||

| Dragonblud, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? | Dragonblud, Try enabling Vertical Sync in game by editing the D3Prefs.txt file. Change Vsync "0" to Vsync "1" This shouldn't be necessary, I wouldn't think, but see what happens.
