| Removed Battle.net app now D3 fails on launch(1) | Category: Technical SupportJuly-5-2014 10:30 AM PDT (8 years ago) ![]() | |
| Because of the graphics freezing in SCII HotS, I removed the Battle.net launcher. This has solved my SCII issues, but now when I launch DIII from the direct app, the launch fails and any attempts to relaunch DIII results in a demand that I install the Battle.net launcher. Does this mean that I can no longer play both SCII and DIII on the same system? | ||

| Timpraetor, When starting the game directly like that, add a -launch tag to the command line used. Create a desktop shortcut to the Diablo III Launcher.exe file unless one already exists. Then right click it and select properties. On the target line, after the last quote symbol, add a space and -launch. It will look something like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\Diablo III Launcher.exe" -launch That should then use the original launcher as long as the Desktop App isn't present. Note, this isn't going to work forever as we're heading towards requiring all (non-classic) of our games to use the Desktop App eventually. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
