| Hello. About a week back I bought RoS and received a key which I typed into my battlenet account and then I downloaded a file that said it was an update to implement the expansion, but it was really just a setup to the battlenet program I already have. It says I have the game RoS on my account info but in my battlenet steam looking rip-off program it only shows ads for buying RoS rather than any means of starting that sucker up. How can I get it working? It seems Blizzard refuses to help customers without you paying them a credit card fee for said help? Pretty disastrous...
It says version 2.0.6.24641
That is the most recent patch for live. Are you trying to access the PTR?
You just need to hit the play button.
There is no update that you need to download or install, it's bundled into the main game. When you activate your RoS key it just flips a switch on their server that lets your account access the new stuff.

Only I'm actually not. I try to create a crusader and the button says "upgrade" and links me to the place for buying the damn thing.

If you applied a valid RoS key to your bnet account then you should have no problems making a crusader. Go to Account Management and look under the Summary - what level game license does it say you have for D3? If you correctly input the key then it should say RoS. If there is an issue with it, contact Billing. If you wait a bit Live Chat will be open. Use the shortcut below to get to the support options. | Snackrib, I looked up your account and it does come up as upgraded to RoS on my end. I just reset your account from my end to see if that helps. | Tyty, I bought it from a cd-key website. Account management immediately recognized the upgrade... only the launcher does not. Just out of curiosity, what's the site? Dankorii, Since resetting Snackrib's account from your end helped his problem. Could you also reset mine? | Smaseliaf, I can play ROS at last! By default I play D3 on USA servers but I'm from Europe. When I noticed that I was logged in the US battlenet I decided to log in the European battlenet and as soon as I did so the launcher recognized my ROS upgrade. Hope this post will help others (Europeans or not) who face this same problem. Cool, thanks for the update!
