| Report ID: 880D71E4-8C33-4D9A-843E-D6F047AAE9A4 I've played the game perfectly fine up until this point. As soon as I enter the Desolate Sands my game crashes. I've done what was suggested by Omrakos in this post http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/9887929133 but it didn't fix the problem. I've also tried uninstalled and reinstalling the game, as well as changing graphics settings. None of those worked. Here is a video from my stream showing the exact moment at which I crash: http://www.twitch.tv/mobbrandon/c/4554073 (when I freeze the game has crashed) If anyone could help I'd appreciate it a lot! | ||

| uguu, You aren't getting the same ATI driver crash that I had posted about in that thread you linked, but it does still seem related to video. There's one module in your submitted crash log that's in use that I'm suspicious of: DBG-MODULE<372F0000 00047000 "AppHookWIN6032_28797159-A2BB-4B60-BF0A-C151761A34BB.dll" "" 0 {00000000-0000-0000-0000000000000000} 0 1385573048> I can't find any reference to it when searching but perhaps you can locate it and whatever app it's a part of? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| uguu, I would try a wildcard search for AppHook*.dll. But in looking at it again, perhaps the string "28797159-A2BB-4B60-BF0A-C151761A34BB" behind that module is actually a reference to another crash. The codes will be unique every time, never the same. That particular one doesn't appear to have been submitted but it's the right format for a crash code. If so, it's doubtful you'll find it anywhere. The crash you did submit is classified internally as occurring in the D3D engine. Unfortunately, there aren't any more dev comments other than they can't verify it yet so are waiting for more reports to be submitted. If you would, go ahead and post your dxdiag info and I'll see if anything stands out to me. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| uguu, Two things sort of jump out at me. 1, you're overclocking your cpu a little so I'd first set it back to the factory default settings. that goes for any other overclocking you may be doing to the system ram or gpu. 2, try using a Catalyst 13.x release of AMD drivers. While your crash is different, your symptoms are in line with a driver crash we're seeing with the 14.x release for some people. Catalyst 13.12 - http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=13.12#amd-catalyst-packages _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| uguu, If you submitted the latest crash, could you provide the code so I can look it up? Even so, there's not much I can do if the developers haven't been able to verify the issue from the reports received so far. Based on what I saw in the crash report though and the fact you're seeing the same symptom more or less we see with certain AMD users, if it were my computer, I'd try running with an Nvidia card if only to see if the error continued or not. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
