| Hey guys, Can items/xp earned during 2.1 ptr be copied back to 2.1 final when it will be released? I guess no but I wanted to double check just in case.... | ||

might be easier to understand if you understand the way it actually works. you do not bring your character there, you create a character copy (kinda like the alternate dimension you). you play the copy there, and when PTR is over, your copy ceases to exist (the alternate dimension is no longer accessible through the portal you found). so nothing earned there can be brought back, cause your D3-ROS character isn't actually there, just your alternate dimension version I like this explanation! None of the progress made on the PTR will transfer back to the live game, so any items, experience, or achievements you earn while on the PTR will advance your characters on the live servers. It's a great place to test out the new changes and features from the patch, though. I definitely recommend hopping over there to try it out if you're interested in any of the new stuff.
