| On the one hand I hope that Wizards demolish other classes in ladder just for bragging rights and competition's sake. Would be nice to say that Wizards are the best (even better if we can make a claim that despite class imbalance we still came out on top). I expect that Wizards will be one of the less played classes with 2.1 and it would be cool if for example we had 10% of the Ladder population but occupied 25%+ of the top 100/1000 players. On the other hand the Ladder standings have the potential to change the general perception overnight and Wizards could quickly become the new FotM if they do well. Plus if we do terribly in the first season we are probably due for some buffs before season 2 starts. :) Of course whether or not Wizards do well is entirely speculation at this point since no one knows what 2.1 will bring until we at least see the PTR, but do you HOPE we will do well? Thoughts? | ||

I'd like to see them be competitive. I'd like to see ALL classes be competitive. This is our goal. We'd like all classes to have their way to shine in their own right. I do feel as though it's worth clarifying that the solo Greater Rift Leaderboards will be separated by class. Because each class is so different, we feel it's more interesting and relevant to see how you stack up against other members of your own class rather than other classes. Of course, this categorization isn't applied to the 2, 3, or 4-man team Leaderboards, so there will still be some measure of comparison between classes — it will just be more focused on composition rather than on an individual level. It will definitely be super interesting to see the different compositions and builds that come together for the best run times, and how those groups and times change based on how early or late it is in the Season. Which Leaderboards are you most interested in tackling? Solo or with a group? Are you planning on focusing on Conquests or Greater Rifts? | ||
