| I just bought Diablo 3 yesterday and after fully downloading it last night I waited until today to really play it. After only a few minutes of playing the game won't load areas of the game and map, the world will just be blue and I won't be able to go into that area and I also can't interact with any npc or objects or use any skills. I go to the game menu and it won't even let me exit diablo and pressing any buttons in the menu does nothing. At first I thought it might be just a random glitch or bug or the game needed time to load but I gave it a few minutes and nothing changed the first time so I restarted the game. Loaded it up and got to play for a few more minutes but when I got past an area and to what was suppose to be a checkpoint it did not load and my objective did no update. After waiting another few minutes and being unable to do anything I exited the game through. I just started the game up a few minutes ago and now it did this same thing right when starting. It started me in New Tristam, though that was not where I was when the game crashed, and it would not let me interact with any of the npc in town or go past a certain point. I don't know what the issue is but this is a very disappointing and frustrating after just buying this game. | ||

| DSJ12, What kind of internet connection are you using? Is it wireless at any point? Have you tried running the game's Scan and Repair utility yet? It's located in the Desktop App under Options when you have Diablo III selected along the left side. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| DSJ12, If scanning and repairing doesn't seem to help, could you try running with a wired connection instead of wireless? That would mean you'd have to run a longer ethernet cable directly from your computer's NIC to your modem, bypassing any routers in use entirely. You'd also need to temporarily disable the computer's wireless adapter so it doesn't still make a wireless connection anywhere. If this works, you'll know your wireless network is the problem and then begin taking steps to improve it. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
