| I have been able to produce this 20 times or so... You start a fresh game, port to Pandemonium Fortress 1 and start doing your run. Around 1-3 seconds after using the portal at the waypoint the game will freeze. It will continue to run in the background because I can hear the sound playing correctly. However the screen will freeze and it will not recover. (waited 10 minutes once) I immediately push ESC and ALT+F4 or Tabmanager close the game. I play hardcore... so far no deaths. I think I managed to avoid the freeze by standing around the waypoint for 10 seconds or longer but its not a 100% solution. And whilst doing farmruns it is absolutely unacceptable. I have the newest grapics card, OS and driver updates. I don't think its an issue with my computer, which btw has enough power to run this game, I guess it's got something to do with what level elements are being loaded. Also I get lags in areas with a lot of red color, Act3 Core of Arreat/ Arreat Crater- themed areas and Act4 Hellrifts. For some reason FPS will drop as low as 10 depending how much is going on on screen. A friend of mine has the same issue and he has an ATI card while I use nvidia. This is relatively new - I haven't had it during the 2.0 patch, but ever since I came back to the game I have this issue. It mainly happens in rifts because the density there is higher than in adventure mode/story mode. Again - my computer is powerful enough to handle this game. It runs other areas at 90fps and more and I get zero lags. it just froze during wave 3 rift keystone challenge thing.... | ||
