| Ok so i changed my game language to french in-game to see how it is,once i restarted the game client.i saw that i had to download 5gb of data. With my internet, i cannot afford to download such a large file (limited bandwidth and speed). I want to cancel the download and turn back to English, but everything i've tried (found on the forums or on google) doesn't seem to work. Here's a list of thing i tried ; 1-I tried to find a language option on the launcher... Failed. 2-I tried to delete Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders in the ProgramData folder... Failed. 3-I tried to delete Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders in the ProgramData folder AND deleted the Frfr folders/files in my Diablo 3 folder...Failed 4-i Tried to edit some Agent.db file as suggested in some threads...Failed Any suggestions or solution is welcome (that does not requires me to download 5gb...). | ||

| Zak, This appears to be caused by a bug that is currently being looked into. Here are some workarounds you can use in the mean time: Workaround 1: 1. Open the Battle.net launcher. 2. Click on "Options" and select "Game settings". 3. Go the the "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls and check the "Additional command line arguments" box. 4. Enter the following in the field that opens up below: -locale xxXX (replace the xxXX with the language you are wanting to launch) List of language codes that can be used: German = deDE English (British) = enGB English (SEA) = enSG English = enUS Spanish = esES Spanish (Latin American) = esMX French = frFR Italian = itIT Korean = koKR Polish = plPL Brazilian Portuguese = ptBR Russian = ruRU Chinese (Traditional) = zhTW ***This workaround will only work if you already have the language pack downloaded for the language you are trying to force. The language pack can only be downloaded by selecting the language in the in-game "language selection" drop down menu.*** Workaround 2: 1. Navigate to the Diablo III\Data_D3\PC\MPQs folder. 2. Delete any .mpq files for the languages you don't want to use. 3. Delete the folders for the languages you don't want to use. 4. Go into the Cache folder and delete the folders for the languages you don't want to use. 5. Restart the Battle.net launcher and try Diablo III again. For example, if I no longer want to use the Korean client I would delete the following: koKR_Audio.mpq koKR_Cutscene.mpq koKR_Text.mpq koKR Folder Then I would go into the Cache folder and delete the koKR folder. ***If you use Workaround 2 you will need to redownload the language files the next time you want to use that language.*** ______________________________________________________ I'm available Sunday through Thursday from 11AM to 8PM Pacific Time Support Contact Information Got some feedback? | ||
