| I am trying to use GeForce Experience ShadowPlay on my system with a supported GPU, but it simply won't run (even though the GFE says it is "Ready", it won't turn on). My laptop (Lenovo Y580) is running a GTX 660M in addition to the built-in Intel HD 4000 graphics, but I'm wondering if the GPU switching might not be working properly. Is there a function from within D3 (perhaps on the chat line) that will tell me which graphics driver is currently being used to run the game? The Options->Video settings gives no such info. | ||

| Daarron, You can view your D3Debug.txt file to see what video device is being used for the session. You'd have to alt-tab out and open it, then look at the lines between ****** Graphics Device Info ****** and ****** Graphics Device Caps ****** example from mine just now: 2014.06.04 13:06:15.587798800 ****** Graphics Device Info ****** 2014.06.04 13:06:15.588272500 nvd3dum.dll NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 \\.\DISPLAY1 2014.06.04 13:06:15.588737500 Driver Version 9.18.13.3788 2014.06.04 13:06:15.589195500 VendorID = 0x10de, DeviceID = 0x1080 2014.06.04 13:06:15.589652800 ****** Graphics Device Caps ****** There's an issue right now with some laptop configurations not enabling the Higher performance Nvidia device properly. If you believe after checking the lines mentioned above that you fit into this category, could you add your info to the sticky post above? http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/13021362593 The -launch feature is described in yet another post made by a user located here: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/11913302274#2 _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Tuesday - Friday, 11 am - 8 pm Pacific Time Saturday 10 am - 7 pm Pacific Time Feedback? - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
