| After not being able to login into my game earlier, I checked my email, and found out that I received two emails first one: "Battle.net Account - Password Change Notice" second one came 11 minutes later(according to timestamp): "Battle.net Account - Password Reset" I never did change my password or even tried to reset it. However since I can't access my account(it says the password was wrong), I reset it anyway(I didn't click at the email link, but I checked and it's legit anyway), and it sent me an email again, which is now just right. Now I could log in, but I can't seem to think how the hell my account's password was changed in the first place without me knowing? I do reported a bug in my friendlist a couple of days ago so maybe this is just the staff checking things out? If this was a hacker I am fortunate to have checked it shortly after the password was changed before it did some damage I'm pretty sure this is not on my end: I use an authenticator that I have on a separate device My PC doesn't have a virus, just ran AVG and malwarebytes, even while the game was running I checked my email's IP addresses login, all came from my computer only, so my email wasn't hacked there is no way he could have gotten info of my secret question OR the first six characters of my game key I have no close friends in real life that play Diablo 3 that could have gotten such information, let alone a hacker So I suspect staf | ||

| lyndonguitar, The password change I'm pretty sure was implemented by us earlier today. We were in the process of escalating your issue with the Diablo III Friend's List and they wanted us to confirm it was actually an account issue. To do that, we needed a Billing Rep to temporarily control the account and test it internally. Normally, they do this with the user's knowledge but I'm not sure of the steps taken today. I did see the results though and the issue has been pushed up higher.
